**** This post is ONLY ChiChis ESCAZU and is not meant to reflect on any other ChiChis restaurants **** Every wanted to have the owner of a bar shout at you in public "you fucking asshole get the fuck out of my bar" multiple times and then snatch your drink away and physically intimidate you? Easy right? Have fight, abuse other customers, throw something, sell crack??? All are likely to provoke this however ChiChis Escazu has a new style of customer service, they will do this to you if you ask to watch the last 8 minutes of the LSU/Alabama game OR, heavens forbid, ask to listen to the sound on the game!!!! No word of a lie this happened on Saturday because the owner and 2 people (out of the 40 or so college football fans in the bar at the same time) wanted to watch the UFC .... hhhmmm it was a little fight, not Pay-Per View and they had missed the first 2 hours anyway, where as the two 'fucking assholes' had been in there for 2 college games, as they are for most sporting events. They are mature, non-violent sports fans that drink beer, talk BS and watch games, they never fight anyone or cause a disturbance, they pay their (large) bar tabs, tip the staff and are polite and respectful. These 'fucking assholes' - who will never enter that bar again while Danny and Albert run the place with such disregard for common decency, manners, integrity respect .... oh and customer service - will be in Time Out Tavern with owners that understand that even if the customer is not right, he/she deserves polite respect. I hope you will join me in boycotting ChiChis ESCAZU while those ignorant pair run it.

I love Chi Chi's but the one near my house was shut down for health violations. I got drunk in there numerous times under the age of 21. They never carded, it was great.

Just an FYI... Not sure if CR was the same way as most countries, but the only televised UFC fight that night was the heavyweight championship... one of the biggest of the year. The rest of the fights were only on Facebook. So he probably was still an asshole, but that wasn't just some random fight...

His post is from Nov. 7th so he is talking about Saturday the 5th when UFC 138 was on Spike TV and not PPV. At the TOT we usually have a packed house for UFC. We had a packed house that night too, but that was because of the LSU - Alabama game plus the other college games. We had about 6 or 7 in specifically for the UFC 138 that night. We have 13 TVs and when UFC is on PPV and have a big crowd it is on a minimum of 7 TVs depending on the crowd and what else is on. That night I had it on 2 TVs. UFC on Fox was the 12th with the heavyweight championship. Down here we actually caught quite a bit of the undercard on Fox Sports Latin America. That broadcast started at 6:00 and UFC on Fox out of the States started at 8:00 our time.
